Anna Orfanides has always believed that “clear and easy communication is key in a
designer-client relationship.” Utilizing her excellent communication skills, she truly excels
in keying in on what is important to her clients. Whatever her clients’ resources or design
style, Anna brings a level of enthusiasm, creativity, sincerity and attention to detail that is
consistently first-rate and hard to find elsewhere.
Inspired by her passion and immersed in a culture rich with breathtaking architecture and
unique designs, she attended the Omega School of Design and Architecture’s Interior
Design program in Athens, Greece. Upon earning her degree, Anna quickly dove into the
industry studying the latest trends in European design while she traveled to trade shows,
devised creative concepts as a Visual Merchandising Director, designed dozens of
exclusive homes for discriminating clientele and introduced high-end interior design to
those with more reasonable budgets as well.
Before long, she started learning all the intricacies and philosophy behind traditional and
period design while working in Boston as an Associate Designer at Northshore Kitchens
Plus and as Senior Designer at Moda Cucina. Since March of 2008, Anna has been a
freelance Interior Designer on numerous projects across New England through her own
interior design company, Anna O Design. She loves working on contemporary and New
England style design projects, however she has years of experience in all design styles.
Anna’s talents have been recognized many times throughout her career as she has graced
the pages of the Boston Globe and her work has been featured in Design New England
magazine.
In her free time, Anna channels her passion for design into her love of photography, as
well as traveling, sports, culinary art and charity as she makes time to work with her
church Outreach Program and the Boston Rescue Mission to help the hungry and
homeless.
